I am pleased to announce that I have been accepted for my third year in this
juried art show . Please come out on September 10, 11 and see my latest
collection of hand carved birds. There will be many artist work on display
and there could be 6000 to 7000 visitors that weekend. It is a fantastic show
and a great opportunity to meet many bird lovers.

I have been mentored by many teachers since moving to the Okanagan. Two years ago , I was privileged to have taken a weekend seminar with Alex Fong. In February 2009, I took a two-day workshop with Larry Jackson in Summerland. I have since completed several paintings, experimenting with these newly learnt techniques. Larry Jackson taught me 'value' proportions as seen in paintings.

My current mentor is Mary Eagle; we are exploring the various techniques of painting in acrylics.For the past two years I was a member of the Kelowna Watercolour Guild and I am now a member of a newly established group called Action Art.

The combined members have vast experience in the painting realm and I am fortunate to have such multi-talented artists to work with as I explore my art!
