Art Walk-Lake Country......September 12-13,09

I have been accepted to exhibit my paintings and wood carvings at Art Walk. It will be a great opportunity to show everyone what I have been working on. With more than 5,000 people expected to attend this weekend event , I hope to see you there.

James Hooey - Watercolours - Kelowna

I have been mentored by many teachers since moving to the Okanagan. Two years ago , I was privileged to have taken a weekend seminar with Alex Fong. In February 2009, I took a two-day workshop with Larry Jackson in Summerland. I have since completed several paintings, experimenting with these newly learnt techniques. Larry Jackson taught me 'value' proportions as seen in paintings.
